Returns Policy Sykes Chemists is committed to a seamless process of providing quality products at very low prices. However, no matter how diligent we are there may be instances where items are delivered incorrectly or you may no longer require the item. If this is the case then you may return the item by the methods detailed below providing they are unused and are returned with the original packaging as complete as possible. Where refunds are required we will reimburse you by the same method used to pay for the order. Credit card companies will only allow refunds to be made to the card used to pay for the original order. Please be aware that it can take as long as seven working days for a refund to be acknowledged by your credit card company. We require that all items are returned using Royal Mail Recorded as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost or stolen during transit. Your statutory rights are not affected 1.1 I want to return an item because Sykes Chemists delivered the wrong product We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and assure you mistakes of this nature occur very rarely. To return the item, please follow the process outlined below 1) Print off an RMA form using the following link www.sykeschemists.co.uk/returns.doc and fill in all the details as best you can. 2) Package the product robustly and correctly and ensure the original product packaging is not damaged or defaced in any way. Use a box, brown parcel paper or a jiffy bag. 3) Please use the returns label at the bottom of your invoice and stick it on the outside of the packaging used to return the item(s). 4) Post the item via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery 5) Remember to enclose the post office receipt so we can reimburse postage costs for sending the item to us. 1.2 I’ve changed my mind We’re more than happy to issue a full refund minus delivery from us to you and any costs which you incur in sending items to us. You must tell us within seven working days from delivery. This time period is the statutory cooling off period required by English retail law. 1) Follow the processes 1 - 5 above 1.3 The order was damaged upon arrival We’re very sorry to hear that your order has arrived damaged and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. We are happy for you to return the item; 1) Follow the processes 1 – 5 as previous, though in this case your packaging will be damaged 1.4 The order was never delivered We’re very sorry to hear that your order has not been delivered within our three working day target. All orders are sent via Royal Mail Recorded which means a signature is required upon delivery. Please check with your local Royal Mail sorting office to see if they’re holding any items for you. Unfortunately we are required to wait 10 working days before Royal Mail will class an order lost. Please get in touch by printing off an RMA form at www.sykeschemmists.co.uk/returns.doc 1.5 The item is faulty and/or need a repair under warranty We’re very sorry to hear that that an item you’ve ordered is faulty or needs repair under warranty. We’re more than happy to accept the item for a refund or repair if you’ve purchased it within the past 28 days and a full refund for items DOA (dead on arrival). If, however, it has been more than 28 days since delivery, you may still return the item for repair, but it may be quicker to liaise with the manufacturer directly.
